PROCEDURE IN DETAIL
Six trigger points were injected involving the bilateral trapezius and levator scapulae. The trigger points identified by palpation and 0.5 ML of the solution containing 0.5% preservative-free Sensorcaine and 80 mg of Depo-Medrol was injected into each trigger point (from the occipital nerve block solution). The patient tolerated well.
