Usage of Artificial Tears
Ophthalmic lubricant; for relief of dry eyes and eye irritationUsual Dosage
Ophthalmic: Use as needed to relieve symptoms, 1-2 drops into eye(s) 3-4 times/daySide effects of Artificial Tears
Stop using ocular lubricant and call your doctor if you have a serious side effect such as:
- severe burning, stinging, or eye irritation after using the medication;
- eye pain; or
- vision changes.
Less serious side effects of ocular lubricant ophthalmic may include:
- mild eye burning or irritation;
- itching or redness of your eyes;
- watery eyes;
- blurred vision; or
- unpleasant taste in your mouth.
